Angel Biscuits...another Betty Crocker great!

My favorite thing in the world is bread making and also bun and biscuit making. This recipe from Betty Crocker is wonderful.  Unlike other recipes that call for flour, this one uses Bisquick. It also has yeast in it, so of course, they would be light and as Betty Crocker says, "Creamy". This is an easy and quick recipe for biscuits...hope you try them! We love them...
Angel Biscuits
1 package quick active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water (105 degrees to 115 degrees)
1 T. sugar
2 cups Bisquick Original baking mix
1/4 cup half-and-half

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water in medium bowl. Stir in sugar. Stir in baking mix and half-and-half until dough forms.
  2. Turn dough onto surface generously dusted with baking mix; gently roll in baking mix to coat. Shape into ball; knead 10 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut with 2-inch cutter dipped in baking mix. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Cover and let rise in warm place about 30 minutes or until soft and puffed.
  3. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.  12 biscuits.

Along with making biscuits and any other thing I can think of, I've been updating my posts on Cafe' Hoffy. I started in January and it's now the middle of March. It definitely takes a lot of time to do. But, I love doing it. Sharing recipes and crafts and ideas to others is what it's all about. When I was younger I could only hope that the recipes I tried were good. Now you can check them out on the internet and see what people are saying about whatever.  It's a great thing.

If you like this post, you might be interested in other Cafe' Hoffy posts. I have given you a sneak peak with a few down below... Also, you can access other posts by clicking on the "More Recipes" or "More Crafts" for more great ideas and recipes.

I, like millions of others, collect "Pins" on Pinterest. I really don't think there is enough time in my life to make every recipe or make every craft project that I would love to do. So, I also place some "Pins" that relate to my post that others might be interested in. This post was on Angel Buns, but I also put a few on Brioche. It might spark someone's desire to finally try making it.

You can visit my "Baking-Bread Board", or my "Baking-Rolls Board" by just clicking. There are lots and lots and lots of good recipes for bread and buns. Also, check out my "Other Boards"...again so many good ideas and great recipes.

Just click on my picture and you will be redirected to  "My Boards"
Below are a few of the "Pins that look so tempting to make...and are from "Pinterest"
