Hi....I'm Barb...

First off, if you want to contact me, please use the "Comment Section" at the end of this post. I will reply as soon as possible. I've been updating my blog, and I think I have finally got all my ducks in a row. So, please use the comment section for any questions you may have.

I love cooking and crafting. Now that I'm retired, I can spend more time doing the things I have always loved to do with no stress. In a previous life I was a cake decorator and a stain glass artist. I was lucky enough to make my living doing things I loved. I traveled seven states and had seasonal kiosks in regional malls in the Twin Cities and Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Those days are long gone. Now, I do one large craft show in the Twin Cities once a year. But, I cook all the time trying new recipes. My husband is now the guinea pig for all my experiments. However, he doesn't complain.

I started my blog several years ago, but with working I didn't have the time to keep up with it.  Now I do. So I've been updating every post and hopefully in the future will have a sister website called "Handmade by Hoffy" where I can sell my wares. Until then, my blog will have to do.  It's been a lot of fun updating. Hopefully soon I will be adding more and more posts of my favorite recipes and crafts.

  1. Hi! I love how informative and great your articles are. Can you recommend a List of Citrus Fruits or blogs that go over the same topics? Thanks a lot!

    1. I love fruits. However, im not quite sure what you are asking. Do you mean citrus fruits for recipes? I just came across a new orange called Cara Cara. They are so good. They have a strawberry taste.
