It's a little late in the season for knitted scarfs, but there's always next winter. This cabled scarf is so pretty with the cables. Designed for the intermediate knitter. I made this last winter for myself. It's a beautiful addition to your winter ware.
Approx 8-inches (20.5cm) wide x 64-inches (162.5cm)
16 sts and 22 rows = 4-inches [10cm] in stocking st.
Cast on 37 sts.
Knit 7 rows (garter st), noting first row is WS and inc 7 sts evenly across last row. 44 sts.
1st row: (RS). (K1. P1) 3 times. K1. P2. K26. P2. (K1. P1) 3 times. K1.
2nd row: (P1. K1) 3 times. P1. K2. P26. K2. (P1. K1) 3 times. P1.
3rd row: (P1. K1) 3 times. P3. K2. (C4F) 6 times. P3. (K1. P1) 3 times.
4th row: (K1. P1) 3 times. K3. P26. K3. (P1. K1) 3 times.
5th and 6th rows: As 1st and 2nd rows.
